...itchy feet...

not being on the road again is a strange occurrence for me. ok so i didn't do half as much travel as some corporate geeks do. but as an it geek, i did my fair share of traveling - not that i'm complaining. well, not now anyway. but i've had my feet firmly planted in hk for a while (though i have not bothered to get my lazy ass onto xanga and write anything). ok..aaaanyway...last trip was two months ago. next trip...hrm....thinking of where my budget (monetary and annual leave-wise) will allow me to go. but man, i am in serious need of some sun. i feel so white it's almost unnatural.

i need to go somewhere ....

...long time no see...

well, back again after a long absence. been on the road for a while now - london, rome, florence, venice, vienna, berlin, zurich, geneva, paris...phew, and now back in london. second time around italy was still amazing from michelangelo's breathtaking 'the creation' in the sistine chapel to his lifelike 'david' sculpture at the galleria dell'accademia in florence and of course not to forget venice with its beautiful canals and dark alleyways!

oh, and being the foodie that i am, i ate lots along the way! italian food is sooooo delicious!  vienna and berlin were only short visits, but i still enjoyed them nevertheless! zurich - now I really wish I had  a bit more time to explore. the people there are the most friendliest i'd met on the trip so far. geneva however was a little disappointing - kind of reminded me of paris (though the people seemed more friendly). however, on a surprising note the people in paris this time around seemed much more friendly than before - could be that losing the olympics bid to london shocked them a bit eh!?! mont st michel was as amazing as it was the first time i saw it....piccies to come when i get back to hk.

next stop amsterdam: i'm sure it's going to be one hell of a mad and sleepless trip! hahaha....
